Looking for an artist specializing in Persian miniature painting (negargari)

Hi everyone,

As the post title says, I am looking for an artist specializing in Persian miniature painting (negargari) as a personal tutor to help me learn this craft in 1-on-1 lessons over zoom/online.

I’m a complete beginner with no artistic background (my experience is in engineering and web development), but I’ve had a deep appreciation for Persian miniature and Islamic illumination (tahzib) for many years.

I’ve recently decided to seriously pursue the craft as a lifelong hobby. This is not for professional gain or social media, my goal is simply to reach a level where I can create meaningful pieces for myself and as gifts for loved ones. I'm mainly looking for someone to provide a roadmap, help me get started, and offer feedback and advice as I learn the craft. There is so little information and help available online for learning persian miniature painting so I'm turning to help ehre!

If this interests you please dm me with your portfolio link and hourly rates and I will be in touch
