Are Beast Cookies or Elemental guardians older?

As the title says, lore-wise, which came first? Beast Cookies or the Elemental Guardians?

From what I know, the Beast Cookies are primordial beings (the original cookies) created before the Elemental guardians (Frost Queen, Wind Archer, FS, etc).

But rationality tells me that the guardians are older since they control the flow of life energy itself (energy that brings cookies into existence).

IDK!! HELP!! (I need to get my facts right for a fic I’m making…)

Or is there no grounded timeline that would indicate that one is older than the other?

Thank yoy in advance!
