Grinded Cabaret Club Czar Grand Prix until the game stopped me (Kiwami 2)

Just as the title says I thought it was funny and I wondered if anyone else has hit this wall in Kiwami 2 before. As soon as Cabaret Club Czar Grand Prix unlocks in Kiwami 2 (Chapter 4 >!right before you return to Aoi with the bandages!<) I grinded it, did 3 of the hostess subquests and unlocked the Millionaire Cup Championship battle all within the same chapter and before >!returning the bandages!< . Eventually this lead to this softlock by the game:

Softlock when Millionaire Cup is unlocked

I'm not asking for spoilers on when this softlock is removed but I'm curious if players run into this softlock often or if my grinding of cabaret club as soon as it unlocked is not commonly done lol.

Another interesting thing is that this softlock not only stops you from participating in the millionaire cup championship battle it fully locks the entire Cabaret Club Czar minigame which stops you from making any more fast money. I can see that aspect being a bit annoying if players are in need of cash and the block still isn't lifted.
