B9 S5 HELP!
Hello all,
Ive been on here before about rocker arms for my B9 S5, and turns out they were damaged and got replaced.
Now Ive had the car a week after its been back from rocker arm replacement, it ran great for 5 days, and then on the 5th day I ran the fuel all the way down because I couldn’t get gas anywhere near by(my fault for not properly planning).
I got to the gas station filled up with 98 and the car sat until 2 days later.
It was a early morning commute, I let it warm up to 90* oil, and then did a tiny pull before work, and it felt really off. Im not sure how to describe it perfectly, but there was a loss in power, it felt sluggish, some extra bangs on the exhaust after let off and there was almost no up or downshift transmission farts.
I thought it was misfiring and it could be the fuel, so I ran the tank down to less than half way and got BP 98, but after a 30 minute drive home it still felt off. I dropped it off at the dealer a day later and they said they couldn’t fault anything and didnt see a misfire.
Does anyone have any idea what this could possibly be??
I still have a tiny gut feeling that it could still be fuel and some liquid moly cleaner will fix it but Im stressin.
Thanks in advance!
