Check points -Leaving Tuesday

Should I expect checkpoints with police force if we’re leaving early tomorrow AM? Planning to pack the car up around 4am. I’m totally sober but after reading some horror stories in other threads I’m worried if I even look tired that I’ll have some serious problems..

Also, dogs at the boarder crossing near Creston? I’m not bringing anything back but I always worry about an old loose bag (have already checked but…) or if there is any particles lingering.
