Is vaginal pain after sex normal for women?

All of my girlfriends have had this problem even though I dont think I am that big. They cum 1-3 times and always, without fail, have some soreness for a day or two afterwards. Am I being too rough? Is soreness okay if they still cum and enjoy it? Are they all masochists?
