35th week of FTM and I dont know how to actually prepare for the Delivery time...

I am in my 35th week of pregnancy and doing fine even with GD and ICP. The major thanks goes to online support groups like these and some offline support from lovly ladies of my society. But, now I think that I actually dont know anything....

1. How will I know that labour has started.
2. When should I go to doctor or
3. What I am actually supposed to fo in the case of vaginal delivery ....or just after it... I have actually made my house ready for the baby and trying to hire a nanny to help immediately after the delivery( my mom & MIL are senior citizens) but still how/ from where I am supposed to learn about the actual delivery process( most of the video sources feel too horrific to watch).
