My phone went from 2% to 70% without being charged

We were at the Magic Kingdom in Orlando, and my phone reached 2% so I turned it off, but when we reached the hotel I took it to charge it but it was on and at 70%. Can someone please explain how would this have happened?, cause it seems like a miracle. My phone is a Redmi Note 14 Pro.
