New to DC comics, what compact comics would you recommend.

I'm newer to DC content only really having watched JLA, the new superman movie and recently picked up the Batman court of owls comic and am really enjoying it. What other compact comics should I purchase to read next. Favorite heros are Green lantern, Batman, and Superman. Thanks for the help
