Package being returned to sender with no notice

Title. I waited for my package all day, as it said expected delivery by 8pm and got a notification after the expected time that the package was being returned to sender because it had been held for the required number of days???? But it was out for delivery only 12 hours ago?? I just want my fucking glasses man.
