Dumbfounded - pregnant after failed IVF

I am absolutely dumbfounded. Currently waiting to get my period to start my next FET. We’ve done two fresh rounds, two fresh transfers and one FET already. This would have been my fourth transfer with our last frozen embryo.

I started spotting last week, which I thought was weird - my period coming very early. I got excited thinking I’m getting closer to booking in my scan dates. Spotting vanished. I thought it was strange and very early. Friends stayed with us over the weekend and had a few drinks. Even put a hot water bottle on my tummy thinking I had period cramps. Period was due today but had no signs of it anywhere. Did a pregnancy test and it was fully positive. I’m in complete and utter shock. Spent most of the morning fully sobbing. Has this ever happened to anyone else?! Out of the 8 years hubby and I have been trying (3 of them doing IVF) I’ve only been pregnant once naturally which ended in miscarriage at 8 weeks. I feel sooo elated and so cautious at the same time. So many happy tears…

My story is how we are never the lucky ones, and somehow this happened 😭😭😭 Have severe MFI (although our clinic told us during our last fresh round that husbands sperm numbers have increased) and I also have PCO, but ovulate regularly. We had a whole plan in place, how after our 4th transfer we would then go and pay for further testing… and then do another fresh round.. I’m shocked 😭

I’ve phoned my clinic and they recommended to start taking progesterone suppositories. Has anyone else gotten pregnant naturally (not via IVF) after failed IVF rounds? Did you take progesterone? / go on to have a live birth?
