Job Summary:
Join Eastlink, a family-owned and innovative telecommunications company, as a Bilingual Tier 1 Technical Support Representative. This role is crucial in providing exceptional customer service by troubleshooting Internet and Cable services for both residential and business customers. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work either remotely or in-office, depending on their location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to customers for Internet, Cable, telephone, mobile, and home security services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues using available tools.
• Assist customers with updating/changing passwords and responding to technical inquiries.
• Maintain accurate and detailed account notes on all customer interactions.
• Meet relevant KPIs including Handle time, NPS/CES.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, both independently and as part of a team.

Required Qualifications:

• Bilingual in French and English.
• 1-2 years of experience providing technical support in a service-related organization.
• Call center experience is an asset.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a multi-shift environment, including weekends.
• Positive energy and a customer-focused attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical knowledge and aptitude for computers, internet, television, and telephone products.
• Experience in a role that requires meeting KPIs.

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary range: $39,000 to $42,000 per year, with a starting rate of $18.16 per hour plus annual variable pay.
• 18 paid days off and 11 paid statutory holidays.
