Why do millennials seem to care less about how their actions impact the world than younger generations do

Question above but as I’m with family im noticing they don’t really seem to care or think about their actions, like, regarding the world and everything. From fast fashion shopping like SHEIN, Temu, etc whatever to (seemingly) being okay with how things are even as we are struggling economically in the US. Like I will admit in the past I haven’t made the best of choices and done the same, but it feels like adults and older generations who already have their families and kids etc are so wrapped up in their lives they’re just ignorant or don’t really care and would continue making such choices blissfully without really feeling the guilt or weight of what they’re doing
