Would you buy a Steam Deck controller?

Owning a Deck has shown me how much I prefer a track pad over a right stick because of the precision and accuracy it offers you, and also the way it allows you to play more PC-restricted games. Unfortunately, track pad controllers are rare, and one of them is also from Valve. I find the Deck's entire control scheme to be frankly genius, and it makes me want a controller that's just a Deck without the touchscreen. Am I alone on this? Do most people prefer a right stick over a trackpad?
