Need Advice: iPhone 16 (256GB) vs Samsung S24 Ultra for Vlogging – Budget Around ₹60K ($720)

Hey folks,

I’m planning to buy a new phone mainly for vlogging and video creation, and I’d really appreciate your inputs.

I’m quite tempted by the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro because of its rumored camera upgrades and mic quality. But realistically, it might launch close to ₹80,000 ($960) during India’s Big Billion Days (BBD) Sale, which is way beyond my budget of ₹60,000 ($720).

So, I’m considering these two options that might fall within or near my range during BBD:

1. iPhone 16 (256GB) – Expected around ₹60K

2. Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra (256GB) – May come down to ₹60K-₹65K

I’m currently leaning towards the iPhone 16, mostly because of its proven video and audio performance, but I’m open to feedback.

Key things I care about:

Camera performance (both front and rear)

Mic quality – clear voice + ambient sound

Low-light video and stabilization

Long-term reliability (no overheating, crashing while recording)

Also, if there’s a better deal available internationally – say in Dubai, the UK, or elsewhere – I’m open to that too, provided warranty and compatibility aren't issues.

Would love to hear from fellow creators or techies:

Which of these would you recommend for vlogging?

Is iPhone 16 (non-Pro) still good enough for content creation?

Are there any deals expected on pro? I might consider increasing budget a bit.

Also, I would love to hear experiences of S24 ULTRA creators!

Appreciate your thoughts!
