Trust in the universe

Reflection

It seems to me that there is a strange thing going on. We believe in things when we do not know them. If we knew them, we wouldn't have the need for faith. You don't need to believe in the sky, you look up and it is there.

Often we appear to want or need something, but it just does not manifest. We push back or resist this and cause ourselves suffering. In time we have no choice but to back off and seek another path, because the one we think we need is a dead end.

But, there is something to be said about being ready for the positive things that come your way. It can be so easy to be stuck in a negative mindset when things don't go your way. Then we miss what it is right in front of us.

When you are ready, you can resonate and get with what's going on. Sometimes it takes work and focus, sometimes it takes letting go. Calm persistence allows you to see the difference between the two. It's like carving stone. Too heavy a hand will destroy the stone, but too light and you don't make any mark.

I think deep down we know what we have to do, but sometimes we don't or can't accept it. And that's OK - because the more we resist our own resistance, the more stuck we get. Allow yourself to be stuck, and take a step back, or a step forward.

We are the universe experiencing itself. Everything happens because it's supposed to happen. We may not like it, we may not enjoy it, but it is what it is. Our little brains cannot really comprehend the whole picture and that's the point.

Trust in the universe. It will be OK. Keep going, believe in yourself, even though you may not understand it. It is better than the alternative path of being critical of everything. It's easy to get carried away by thought. Sometimes the only way out of it is to stop believing in your thoughts.

Don't let your trauma run your life. Allow yourself to heal.

Namaste.
