Body Hair (Leg Hair specifically)

Hey, i got a few questions. specifically about epilators: give me some advice, maybe some recommendations? Currently i always shave under the shower. Legs every week, after a week it gets too long and too visible and gives me sort of dysphoria. How long does the Hair need to grow back if you epilate it? Can you use epilators on Intimate spots aswell? Do you just do it underwater? What about conditioner or shaving cream/gel? i would appreciate if you guys could help me out, i really dont wanna deal with so many cuts and very irritated skin anymore (i shave intimate areas every 2 days so it can get quite red and have some spots sometimes) sooo yeah :3 thanks in advance i guess -v-
