How does Sendoff work this tour?

Quick question regarding sendoff for the IYF: American tour!

So, I've never had sendoff before, this is going to be my first time since I got ult in San Jose and I was wondering how that works?

In previous tours I've heard that ults weren't getting barricade even though their ticket was 'above' Atiny VIP and I realized, I really don't know anything about how sendoff works.

I haven't heard the same complaints this time around, thankfully, but is it a possibility of not getting barricade even with an ultimate VIP ticket?

The email just says to look out for another email regarding a location to arrive at or something, what does this all mean?

TLDR; Are you guaranteed barricade at sendoff with an ULT VIP ticket or is it all down to luck/speed?
