I got banned from both r./asksingapore and then r./singapore, for asking why many local Singaporeans don't speak Mandarin. I didn't even ask the question on r./singapore and got an auto-ban.

Is anything that insinuates any links between China and Singapore bannable? Why'd the mods get triggered?

I'm Chinese Canadian, and has always found the very anti-China vibe on r./Singapore weird. When I visited Singapore, a lot of people were quite supportive of China (we were speaking in English, so I assume they were either Malaysian Chinese or Singaporeans). I am sure there's anti-China people in SG, but it's so intense on the main sub.

And you can find my post in my post history, I wasn't even making any pro-China statements, literally asking why many locals don't speak Mandarin, and got banned??
