Anyone in Lakewood ever get one of those scary tax letters and try to get help?

I’ve been in Lakewood for a few years now and this morning I got one of those really official looking letters in the mail about my taxes and I’m kind of freaking out. I always thought I was doing everything right, but apparently something from 2020 or 2021 got messed up and now they’re saying I owe more than I can pay right now. I don’t even know if it’s real or a scam, but it looks legit. I started looking up tax relief stuff but there’s so many companies and websites and I have no clue who’s for real. I keep seeing things about tax resolution and wage garnishment and liens and it’s honestly overwhelming. Has anyone in Lakewood actually gone through something like this and used a local service that helped? I’m not looking for any guarantees or whatever, I just want to know if there’s a real option that doesn’t make things worse. I’m super anxious and I haven’t even told my partner yet because I’m embarrassed. Any help or guidance from folks here would mean a lot.
