I(23F) cussed at my bf(23M) in front of his friends, have I made a huge mistake?
For context: the previous day me and my bf had gone for a one day trip with his childhood friends and one of them had also bought his gf. During the trip I was pretty mad at my bf because he was trying to be this kind of alpha whatever male who is unable to show affection in public, I am not talking about cringe PDA but just talking normally like I am your gf and not a friend who just tagged along with you on this trip.
So, after we came back, we had a huge fight. He did cuss at me a lot of me and how I was so too dependent on him during the trip etc. but the reason I was because I didn't know these people, I am meeting his friends for the first time, directly on a trip, I am not at all an extrovert. But ok idk what I was expecting out of him. I said fine.
Again the day after that all of us were going to go to a trampoline park. And by that time we were actually talking quite normally with each other, but I had a lot of grudge because he was cussing at me non-stop the other night and I hadn't said anything to him. Now I know you shouldn't call out/cuss at your partner in public because people just judge that bit instead of seeing the whole picture. But I was just so angry at that moment, that when he was trying to pull me into the block pit thing I did say something which was heard by his friends. And they gave like a look to each other.. It struck me the next second. My bf didn't seem to care about that he was happy goofing around.
I mean, I know I wasn't supposed to do that, I could have fought with him later vented myself out, but idk what happened in that moment.
Now, I just overthink about this whole thing.
