Looking for online learning that do not have STAAR testing

This might be a shot in the dark but I’m looking for an online school that is

-free/affordable -doesn’t do the STAAR tests -is flexible

I just don’t like the tests bc they don’t seem to count for much & aren’t useful. 40% is passing. (I’m sorry that bar is in hell) Many can’t pass them because they aren’t on grade level & are just moved along through to get them out of the way. They are also proven to not be useful in accurately gauging where a child is academically. Colleges do not use them when you’re applying. Then there’s the fact many teachers are forced to teach to these tests which just creates a lot of unnecessary stress & kids just aren’t retaining what they should in that type of environment.

My kiddo is going to be starting 1st grade this year so we have a few years until the STAAR tests would start (she does k12 & we both really love it) but I’d like for them to never have to start for her. I would love to get her into a school that doesn’t teach to these tests but I fear that might be a long shot.
