Building a tool to diagnose plant issues from leaf photos — what would make it actually helpful?

Hey folks — I’ve been working on a little side project called LeafCheck. It lets you snap a photo of your plant’s leaf and get AI-based feedback (yellowing, curling, spotting, etc). Goal is to help diagnose issues like nutrient deficiencies, pests, or stress — before the plant declines.

There are apps that try to do ID + care + shopping, but I just want this to do one thing well: tell you if your plant is unhappy, and why.

Would love any thoughts from others building in this space — especially around how to avoid the “AI hallucination” trap. And if anyone here has houseplants, I’d love to invite a few testers when it’s ready.
