term bill question

hi guys, on the term bill where it says “ Term Billable Credit Hours 18.0”, if i decide to drop a class and have 15 creds instead of 18 will my term bill go down? if so do i need to drop the class before i pay it or how does it work? also can i still change my meal plan before i pay? ty!
