Regaining wounds query

A character has

• an enhancement that says "at the end of each phase, the bearer regains all of its lost wounds"
• an ability that's allows them to be set back up on the battlefield after it has been destroyed, but with half of its wounds remaining.

Does the character regains missing wounds up to the original full amount or to the new half amount?
