Strange BJ game on European Ferry
Im not a frequent BJ player but I know the basics of card counting and can execute it well when fully focussed. I also know basic strategy but not with differing rules.
Today I went on a ferry from Rotterdam (NL) to Hull (UK) and there was a live dealer BJ game with 2 pound minbet 20 pound maxbet. There were some very strange rules:
- Push was a loss
- You can double any number and still take cards after doubling.
- Take 5 cards without busting pays 3:2
Other rules were just normal.
We played with 6 decks and they put cutcard always halfway around 3 decks.
Is this game beatable when played perfectly?
