Sirmione, Lake Garda - October 1st

Looking to travel to lake Garda at the beginning of October and was wondering, with it coming to the end of the season will places still be open?

I’ve found a hotel to stay in Sirmione which looks great but was wondering if there are better places at this time of year

Also what’s the weather like around Lake Garda at this time of year? I’m not expecting it to be very hot but dry and bright would be great
