So to start off, the image shows my originally planned team and team progression with the only thing not shown is that i also planned on getting Acew instead of Scolipede once available and then deciding whether to go for Haxorus or Hydreigon.

I realized some time early in this game that there are so many grass types that i find very cool and interesting, enough that imo you can build a solid 6 man grass team in this game. I also realized that Sigilpyh is not that interesting to me (due to lack of evolution and other things). Without Sigilyph, I would have easily opted for Archen in my pre-game team building (i go for teams without any overlapping types), gone for Oshawott as my starter and water moves HM slaves (instead of Carracosta whom i’m also finding to be not that cool) and slotted in one of the many lovely grass type options to round out my team:

Samurott, Sawsbuck, Galvantula, Archen, Excadrill and Haxorus/Hydreigon which would be *chef’s kiss* for me.

I am now in Mistralton Cave with my core 3 that i’m very fond of: Serperior, Galvantula, Excadrill, a strong Sigilpyh that i’m not attached to, a ducklett as a temporary HM slave and a Tirtouga with exp. share that i’m leveling up in case i end up keeping it after all.

I can:
a) stick with the original plan and hope to grow fond of sigilyph (who admittedly is strong and learns great moves) and Carracosta
b) keep ducklett as an hm slave and exchange Sigilpyh with Chandelure/Terrakion (no strong flying moves in my team except i can teach Galvantula hidden power which turned out to be flying).
c) ¿ pls help ?

Side note: this is definitely in my top 3 of best pokemon games, i can’t wait to try b2w2 and thanks for reading.

Due to an epiphany 6 gyms in, i am now struggling to finalize my team…
