I'm I just terminally bad at this game?

I've completed ER, BB, DS3 and Sekiro and found them all relatively easy. I'm on DS now and really struggling with it to the point that I just think I'm naturally awful.

I've got to blighttown and I can't even make it past the first few enemies. I've been killed by them about 10 times now, can't even get to the first bonfire. Should I just give up?
