Trying to figure out what to do

Hi, I've never had a console and never played any of the classics as I've been a PC gamer for most of my life. Now I've had a ps5 for a couple of years and not having any games, I went for the ps+ deluxe for two years. It was totally worth it considering I managed to play all the major franchises and games but having said that I'm not sure it's worth renewing again considering the level of the monthly games. I also tend to never go for platinum or NG+ replays.

I'm in Australia and the subscription would cost me 210$ for a year which isn't a lot, I think it's more the principle of what's on offer being rather lacking that's making me question the renewal this time. I have a few games I purchased outright to play that would keep me busy for a while and with that money I could get other stuff like Space Marine II which is on sale at the moment (90$ for ultramarine edition) and still have cash to spend on other games during other sales.

I mostly read that people are unhappy with ps+ as it brings little value to people that have played most of the famous titles and I can see why, I'm just not entirely sure what to do and I'm just wondering what the general consensus is. Thanks to whoever feels like answering and helping me make my mind up.

TL;DR: After 2 years of ps+ subscription I'm not sure if I should renew or just use that money to start building my own collection.
