6yr old bleeding 12 days post op

My child started bleeding on day 10 , called the ambulance and went to the ER. They monitored for 12hours before letting us go home. The bleeding did stop on its own, but now she’s scared to go to sleep.

The doctor did say that it could bleed again, and to just come back if it does. There is no way to tell if it will or not. Now I’m paranoid and scared. I thought after the first week I wouldn’t need to worry too much about bleeding. I followed all the post op directions, from meds to keeping her home.

Has anyone else experienced bleeding later on ? If so did you still recover within the 14days?
