Is this redness after cast removal normal?

Hi everyone, I’m reaching out for advice about my 4 year old sphynx cat.

She had a fractured front leg and has been wearing a cast for about a month. Today, the vet removed the cast and replaced it with a new bandage, leaving the paw/toes partially exposed (which were previously covered). They also put on a cone to keep her from removing the bandage, although she hadn’t tried to mess with it before.

Now, 5 hours later, her exposed toes look really red and swollen. She won’t let me touch much the area, it seems painful. I’m worried the bandage might be too tight or causing circulation issues. She’s eating and drinking fine (with some help due to the cone), but I’m concerned about the inflammation and sensitivity.

The vet is closed now, so I plan to go first thing in the morning, but wanted to know if anyone has seen this kind of redness before. Should I be worried overnight?):
