Response from the UK government on the “Repeal the Online Safety Act” petition

If you can’t be bothered reading the lengthy response in the link, to sum it up, the government says it “doesn’t have any plans to repeal the act, and wants to make sure it’s implemented for every UK user.”

Because of the number of signatures though, a debate in parliament is still to be scheduled in the next 4 days. So, hold out hope 🤞🏻
