Dogs in Bunnings
I daresay that this has been discussed before, but today I was in Bunnings and a guy had an American staffy / pit bull looking dog in his trolley. Now I like dogs, I have an Australian staffy myself, but I'm not a fan of dogs in Bunnings, but I accept, their shop their rules.
What bothered me though was that this dog was not leashed, as in tied to the cart, so should it decide that it doesn't like the look of somebody there was nothing to stop an attack. As I walked by the dog giving it a wide berth, it turned quickly towards me, to the extent that I did jump a little.
I know that people will always say their dog wouldn't hurt a fly, but the fact is, even my dog attacked another dog unprovoked at the beach - drawing blood no less - and we were completely blindsided by how our usually docile dog suddenly became violent.
Do people generally think that all dogs are OK in Bunnings, and if so should they be leashed. For me personally, I would never take our dog in a shop and I'm personally against Bunnings allowing it
