Life Goes on, Laughing in my Face
Anyone else have an ex that left them and it's almost like there was absolutely zero grief from their side of the street? It has been ten months, and even though time has ceased to even exist since then, it has been a long and strange ten months without him. It was a weird nearly three years with him too though.
I see photographs of him laughing. When he calls to see how I'm doing and tell me that he still loves me, he always mentions that he has had a good day. I saw a picture of him sitting right next to some chick he went hiking with, and I bet he was laughing and having the time of his life. He would never walk beside me. He would always walk far ahead of me and if we had met somewhere and drove separately, there were times he actually just walked away and left me wherever we were. He wouldn't even say goodbye sometimes. He would act like he had no clue what I was talking about when I'd ask him about it.
I feel like nothing now. I have been completely degraded and dismissed as a living thing. He told me I'm worthless, replaceable, and that I am absolute trash.
Life spins madly on.
