AITAH for telling family gossip to someone and then lying saying it was a joke?

So I 13 F, told my friend some family drama (that I will not be saying on here bc I feel like I messed up enough by telling her) I told her PLEASE don't tell anyone . Like bro I was begging, and she started questioning me as to why she can't tell anyone. So I got scared and told her it was all a joke and I wers just messing with her. It took a while but she finally took it and then I started to calm down a bit. It took me 3 pinky promises and i felt bad but I feel like I needed to do what I needed to do. Also should tell my mom about this? I'm scared she's gonna get real mad but I feel guilty or should I just shut up and take this as a lesson to not tell everyone whats going on in my life. Litterally any advice is appreciated, ask me if anyone wants some more info on the conversation between me and my friend, but I won't say anything about the actual drama that I told her about. sorry for the really bad writing job, trust me my english grade is much better, I just feel anxious and I'm rushing lol.
