Why did my laptop screen go all fuzzy out of nowhere?

My laptop was working just fine. In the middle of my work day, something weird happened. The screen became fuzzy out of nowhere. There wasn't a single issue with it prior to this. I can barely look or read anything on the screen now.

I've tried resetting the graphics and following other advice I found online but nothing seems to be working. Can you please suggest what I can do about it? Is it a hardware or a software issue? Or is my laptop just giving up on me?
