Let me know, I'm still kind of confused.
I didn't even believe in twin flames before I met this person. I'll explain our entire dynamic and y'all tell me if she is my twin flame or not. I kind of feel like she is but being new to this possible thing, obviously I'm going to think maybe I'm just obsessing over this person. BTW I have gotten to the point where I'm feeling that random hole that was created after our separation, I guess?
I met this person when I was still with my gf at the time during my birthday party. It was my first time seeing her as she was a plus one my other friend brought along. I was never attracted to them but I'm the type of person that can recognize beauty. Since she didn't know anyone, I was making sure to make convo with her so she wouldn't feel left out. My ex got upset I was talking to her for a bit too long even though I was talking to everyone and it caused some problems. Long story short, we tried being friends, but my girl was insecure, so I cut her off. She is a very emotional and sensitive person and even in the short time we hung out we felt really close to the point where she cried on the phone after I told her we can't be friends. Last thing I did for her was get her a birthday present as a goodbye gift. Fast forward me and my gf breakup because it was getting too much to deal with. I decide that I want to try to be friends again with... let's just call her jessie.
From when we started hanging out again it felt as if we've always known each other. I could do anything with her and have fun, we went out to multiple outings with and without friends, but we mostly hung out 1 on 1. It felt like all the love I usually given to people unconditionally were being reciprocated back 100 percent. She would buy me gifts, make me things, we would say how much we loved each other as friends. Especially her, she made sure to let me know how beloved I was to her. This went on for about 5 months and honestly, even only just meeting her in 2024, those 5 months are up there with the best times in my life.
Unfortunately, I'm approaching the part that you guys would call a "separation". I was never attracted to her because I met her while I was still with my ex, but over time with the time we spent, I started to think "If we were to develop feelings for each other, I wouldn't mind at all." But it would have to be mutual as I didn't want to ruin our friendship. Especially since she told me she had a history of guys becoming friends with her as a masquerade to eventually want to date her. So, I wasn't going to do shit but enjoy my time with this person.
Now there was one specific day where she crossed my boundaries and made me start to question if she liked me. We went to go see a concert and after it was done certain things happened. You guys let me know if I'm tripping. Friends don't take their guy friends hand (interlocked mind you) and start walking back to the car, they also don't joke around about potentially having sex with you, or while you're in the car let you grip their thigh while she puts a blunt to your mouth and y'all both smoke while intensely looking in each other's eyes. Oh, and we went back to her place, and we were stretching together while holding hands (interlocked). So, no one could blame me If I started questioning If that was a sign or not.
Mind you we are pretty close and we already do things like sleep overs, cooking for each other, feed each other food, but to me those are regular things, I know others would think otherwise. I've never felt this comfortable with a woman ever! We shared similar music taste, we loved each other's clothing style but that isn't all. The creepy part is that her actual name is my exes name, and she was genuinely the complete positive opposite of my ex. Everything that I didn't like about my ex, she was the opposite.
So then after that night I was debating if I wanted to ask her if she liked me, cause after that night those feelings were sort of unlocked for me. So, after 2 weeks of figuring out if she did like me, I decided that it was a 60/40 percent chance she did. The next time we went out, I'd find out for sure. Fast forward we link, and we have our usual fun night and we ended up back at her place. We were in her room and I just came out and said it. I just wanted to know if she did like me or not so I wouldn't be confused. I told her I started liking her more after that night, but I wanted to know exactly how she felt. I mentioned that if she didn't like me in that way then we need to set up boundaries cause that shit is fucking confusing. I waited, and she was becoming visibly sad saying that she did love me, but she thought that we were really really close friends. Now that was fine for me cause I just didn't want to be confused. She then proceeded to question why I would want to be with another mentally ill person. I told her that I don't mind being with those people as long as they don't neglect themselves like my ex did. As long as you're putting in atleast 50 percent, I'll bring the other 50. We ended up talking a bit more but the mood didn't change, she was still sad because she probably thought it was a reoccurring situation like the guys she mentioned before. Ever since that night I haven't heard from her. The last thing I did was send a letter with a little gift explaining how I didn't mean to make her sad and cry, I just wanted to figure out what she meant by her actions. I sent it as a farewell gift or a new beginnings gift because we shared a little too much emotionally for it to be the end all of a sudden, but I have not gotten a response at all.
I have never been more confused and distraught ever. Like why the universe sent me someone that fit in my lifestyle so perfectly just to take them away. From there I started wanting some type of answer or closure and I ended up in the twin flame rabbit hole. For the most part that's what I think she is. I was forced to look into myself and figure out why this person's absence hurts so much out of everyone I meant? It didn't make sense. Every time I'll just be relaxing and then boom a weird sensation and I'm thinking of her again. Why? why her? And why take her away from me? I ended up fixing some small problems with myself thanks to her absence, but realistically it felt excessive just to teach me a small lesson, I guess. Like fuck the lesson bring that person back to me! How you gon show me something I can't have!? But I had to come to terms that if she is my twin flame there is a chance I might not reunite with her this lifetime. I definitely feel like I will, but who knows. Ya'll let me know. Am I right?
