PGT-A testing on frozen embryos?

Advice Needed!

Hi all,

I underwent my first IVF cycle over 2 years ago. 17 eggs retrieved with 3 embryos by Day 3. Did the fresh transfer on Day 3 which resulted in a live pregnancy, and the other 2 blastocysts frozen & stored on Day 5. No PGT-A tests were done.

Whilst we were so fortunate to have a successful first transfer, I emotionally struggled with the whole infertility journey (unexplained infertility).

I am considering doing a transfer soon, and I’ve read here about the multiple benefits of doing PGT-A testing, especially for those with multiple embryos.

However, I only have 2 in storage. Wondering whether others, if in a similar position as me, would do the test before a transfer? Assuming there’s an associated risk of losing the embryo from the thawing/testing process?

I am 36, no health issues (other than a few uterine polyps that were removed prior to ivf). Pregnancy was a little complex with baby being born with non-critical medical issues and has since undergone treatment.
