Council Apprenticeships Cert 2 or 3?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a career change going from a support worker into hort/landscaping. I have some experience (general landscape labor at a relatives place on my days off) but don't really know what to pursue exactly. I enjoy working outside, particularly mowing and bush clearing but also have an interest with plants.

I was eyeing an apprenticeship cert 2 in horticulture to get a feel of the work, or a cert 3 apprenticeship in parks and gardens, I assume the latter would provide more job opportunities but it's a 4 year course as opposed to 1 year for cert 2. I'm just unsure whether I'd like the work or not.

If anyone here has done either of the courses? would love to hear your opinion on it
