Apologies for the lack of response within text, I was having a meltdown while texting my mom.

I’m having complications with family and school.

Over the years i have lived in VA, severely depressed and always feeling completely drained. My dad gave me the opportunity to move with him to NH (New Hampshire) and i am doing far better in school.

For those who saw my last post under this sub about my father, you understand how this could be an issue. My father has done a ton of bad things in the past, one of them being the reason why He and my mother had separated (not yet divorced).
He is very Immature and tries to manipulate me very often.

**The reason why i moved in the first place was for better opportunities. I was failing school back in VA and now i am passing and excelling. I have no friends in my new school, and all my friends back in VA were left behind.
The job i want is very important to me and i will need a certain degree in order to get it. So i will more than likely need to get into college.**

I love my mom more than anyone, we do get into arguments but it is nothing compared to how my dad treats me. If i go back to Virginia, i feel like i will be happier and away from family drama with my friends again.
If i stay in NH, I fear that my depression will push me further back into a position where it will be difficult to get out of, and could get in the way of my studies. Then there would be no point in being there.
I can’t afford to fail, and I can’t afford more depression and stress.

My dad is way more financially stable than my mother, so that is even more of a problem.

I have no idea what to do.

**Pros and Cons**

VA
**P:** Happier, Healthier, Friends, Mother, Less Stress and less depression.
**C:** In Position to fail if i return, no 504 or accommodations, a chance I won’t get the job or get into college.

NH
**P:** Higher success rate, wealthy, good meals, 504 is supported, School has amazing art department.
**C:** Stress, depression, no friends, dad, etc.
