Small wound on cats back.

I habe a cat with a small wound on its back, around 5mm diameter. Its a lil weepy, is this sometjing i should book a vet visit or can i just buy something for it over the counter? I have photos, and have just started treating it with highly diluted betadine. Cat is otherwise in good spirits and must be a bit of a scrapper as its not its first wound!
