At-Will State, IL Terminated for inquiring about pay

Pretty much, started new position, was not paid( even when other employees were), was told the singular HR person who apparently does payroll would get back to me on Wed when they were back in office. I inquired was their no one else who could deal with this issue . And was terminated on spot.
