instagrams sleep timer is a piece of shit

i’m trying to turn off this stupid sleep mode thing and it isn’t working. i’ve tried every workaround but in order to turn it off you need a parent, who needs to be verified 18+, and i don’t have anybody like that. i’ve tried to make an alt account 18+ to be a parent but despite the email being 18+ instagram still needs a form of identification to set your age over 18. im pissed, i downloaded ig to talk to my friends, not to have a fucking curfew and an overprotective parent. i check my dms and night and there’s multiple texts from my friends but they don’t fucking show because of this dumb sleep timer. any help??? is this just futile??
