Should I get the covid vaccine in 2025?

Obligatory on mobile throwaway account yada yada, not sure if this counts as medical advice and I can't post on any covid specific subs as I'm using a throwaway
I need to preface my parents are not anti-vax they were just ant covid vax
Back when covid first started I was under 18 and my parents didn't want me to get the covid shot as they were scared of how fast it came out and felt it wasn't safe. We also knew several people who when they got the vaccine almost immediately died within 5 months or less and their doctors said it was most likely due to the shot. This was Alberta and BC Canada btw, where the family members passed away.
However I am now an adult and I was wondering if I should go get any of the covid vaccines at this point? I will admit I was also kind of scared for a while as I lost some family members very shortly after they got the shot and wasn't really sure what to believe
I am not anti-ax I just listen to my parents about this and I didn't really know what to like believe because there was so much information it was a little overwhelming
Long story short is it worth it and should I go get all of the required covid vaccines or is it not worth it at this point in time?
