Dog poo on felt/wool slipper

Hi there, Marked NSFW just in case. My dog tracked in poo and by the time we cornered him he had gotten it on my house shoe/slipper on an edge. It’s felt/wool on that part and as far as I am aware I cannot throw it in the washer.

Besides taking it to a professional, are there any suggestions for how to get dog poo out of felt? I don’t want to ruin the slipper as I absolutely love it and it is new.

We are resolving/bleaching/mopping/washing all surfaces he got his grubby little paw on as we speak and this is not how I wanted to spend my night… dog is now clean and while disappointed in bath unrepentant for the mayhem.

Any advice welcome.
