Should I restart my wublin island farm?

Been an on and off player.. years ago I started my zynth farm and only got about 10-15 zynths before I lost motivation and stopped playing the game.

About 2 months ago I just started picking up the game again and started working on my zynth farm again since that is where I had left off.

But I've only just found out the other day they've updated the way you earn currency on wublin Island and zynths have a lower chance of producing diamonds. Should I remove all my zynths and replace them with Tympas? How much of a difference will this actually make
