Celebrating anniversary in Kyoto

My hubby and I are visiting Kyoto for our honeymoon/anniversary this October and I am looking for intimate/romantic activities or restaurants? I am anticipating on likely needing to make a reservation so I am asking now! At some point we planned to find a restaurant and get Wagyu steak, so if there is a good spot to check out that would be good for a date night, even better. Price is not a huge factor for us so please send all of your recommendations! We are first time visitors to Japan and are so excited :)
