Is there a better pkmn chest then what’s on the cfw guide?

Seem to be seeing different links in threads for pkmn chest, is there a better one than the 5 year ago one? Also how would I use this app to evolve gen 4 pokemon instead of trading? Saw a comment saying this but can’t find a guide I guess, thank you for any help.
