Listing multiple experiences in the same lab on my CV.

General Advice

I worked in a lab this past spring semester for credit/an honors thesis. I am working in the same lab again right now, but on an undergraduate research grant. I will be continuing to work there for an hourly wage during the month of August after my grant ends. And during the school year, I’ll be volunteering there (no credit this time).

During each of the spans of time, I’ve been working on the same broader project, but with slightly different objectives and goals. I’m wondering how to list all four instances in this lab on my resume since two of the spans of time were paid (stipend and hourly) and two were not. Should I include them all in one big research section and say something like “Honors Research Student” or “____ Grant Recipient” or just “Research Assistant)?” Or should my paid instances in the lab be in a work section?

Also, is it worth adding a couple bullets to describe what I did during each moment I was in the lab, or should I specify the timeframes but then only do one set of bullets?
